Building a Family-Run Company from the Ground Up
Cynthia P. Collier (Cindy) holds degrees from Lindsey Wilson College, Campbellsville University and additionally did graduate work at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Who knew a woman running a successful truck line in a man’s world would have sung her way through college! After college, Cynthia embarked on her career as a woman to be known. She started with the U.S. Shoe Corporation and quickly rose to the top as District Sales Manager overseeing several stores and over a hundred women.
Cindy has worked for decades to build the family-run company from the ground up. In order to be a good leader, you really have to be involved with your staff. Cindy believes that you need to be participating in the day-to-day activities of the company in some shape or form, and you have to continually strive to improve upon what was done yesterday. She never accepts less than the best.
