The Farmer and The Foodie; From Root to Fruit

Aiming to cultivate healthy communities through education and the celebration of diverse food traditions, co-hosts Maggie Keith and Lindsey McClave have a knack for creating delicious recipes using fresh, local ingredients. Their love of food, farming and interest in entertaining are a winning combination. The Farmer and The Foodie broadcasts on KET and other PBS stations in various markets. Past seasons can be seen on Facebook and YouTube.

Each episode follows Maggie and Lindsey as they embrace the bounty of KY’s farmland, taking them to various corners of the Bluegrass where they draw inspiration from the ingredients and individuals they encounter. They bring what they’ve gleaned into the kitchen, where they create delicious, approachable recipes.

Directions to Foxhollow Farm Center:
Follow directions to Foxhollow Farm on Google Maps by typing in “Foxhollow Farm”. Do not type in Foxhollow’s Address into other maps applications as it will lead you astray. Once you reach Foxhollow Farm’s tree-lined drive, continue straight. Once you reach the 4-way stop, continue straight. Loop around the circle drive and parking is straight ahead. There is additional parking if you continue straight to the end of the parking lot and look to your right. Once you park, you will walk back to the circle drive and go down the stairs to the main entrance of The Farm Center. Once down the stairs, look to your right and you will see the double glass doors leading you to the event space.
