Sara Potecha is an accomplished author, speaker and consultant who has led cultural transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 and 200 companies and coached hundreds of leaders to higher levels of performance. A masterful storyteller, Sara is a sought-after speaker with audiences ranging from corporate headquarters to prisons. She is an expert on women in leadership, veteran employment, emotional intelligence, change, resilience and leadership competency.
As one of the first women to graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Sara learned firsthand about overcoming adversity while she learned how to become a leader. As an Army Officer, she supervised over 300 highly skilled technicians while stationed in Europe. The technical expertise gained through her military service served her well when she began her corporate career working in the Information Technology (IT) for a large bank. However, it was her leadership skills that propelled her career as she was called upon to address and solve more complex people issues. Eventually, this led to her to serving as the Director of Change Management for a national mortgage company. Always an entrepreneur at heart, Sara launched her highly successful management consulting firm in 2014 and most recently added to her resume by publishing her book and becoming a best-selling author.
In her first non-fiction business book, West Point Woman, Sara delves into fundamental leadership precepts taught to her at a tender age in the crucible of the West Point experience. She captures her audiences through powerful, and poignant personal stories while teaching her readers how to cultivate the character within.
